Pride and Prejudice

This was an excelent book. It takes awhile to get used to the language and it starts off a little slow, but it's totally worth it in the end. The movie is also really good, although not as good as the book. Mr. Bennet was one of my favorite characters, along with Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. Truely Mr. Darcy is a wonderful person once he got past his pride, which takes him over half the book to accomplish. I really suggest you read this book if you like love stories.

Mrs. Bennet hopes that Bingley will marry one of her daughters. The Bennet family forms a friendship with Mr. Bingley, his sister Caroline, and their friend, Mr. Darcy. In the mean time, the Bennets also become acquainted with one George Wickham, Darcy?s estranged childhood friend.

Fahrenheit 451

So I had to read this book for English class, but it was good. It was about a society where books were burned if they were found. The ending is a little depressing but if fits the story. It has a lot of good characters but leaves a few unanswered questions about what happens to Clarice. I would suggest if you had to do a paper for English class this would be a good book to choose.

The God of Animals

Talk about a serious reality check. This story seems so real it could be the life of your neighbor. Most books have happy endings, well not this one. It's all about broken promises and dreams that don't come true, the real hardships of life. Not full of fairytales and princesses. Set in the life of a preteen girl living on her family's horse stable. The ending wasn't to be admirered but that was just because it ended like real life story not one out of a story book. Everyone has reasons to lie and lives that get torn apart, nothing is ever what it seems.

Story of a Girl

Story of a Girl was surprisingly good. It was about a girl trying to overcome a past mistake that fro three years was controlling how her life and her family's was developing. She makes quite a few more mistakes during the course of the book, but eventually she resolves those and the one big mistake that was controlling her life. In learning to forgive and overcome, she finally takes control of her life. The ending was ok it left off a little abruptly though.

Review/Description

Untamed

Untmamed was the fourth book in the House of Night series. Personally, I think the authors are sort of drawing out the series a little bit. They basically resolved everything that happened in the last book in the first fifty pages, it as a bit too easy. Zoey even got involved with another guy.Then, something totally different basically happened than what was set up in the last book. It was ok towards the end and it left off setting up for the next book. That I hope will be better.

Body Surfing

Body Surfing was pretty goo, it was very surprising and written well. The main woman of the sstory has a hard time with love and life, being once divorced and once widowed. The ending fit the story pretty well, it was sad at times and funny at others. It was a more adult type romance novel,but not graphic or anything. At times it was a bit confusing. It makes you want to go to the ocean and try body surfing. It teaches you a lesson that sometimes people aren't really who you think they are and you shouldn't make assumptions.

Deep Down Popular

Deep Down Popular was ok when I bought it I didn't know it was about sixth graders. It was written kind of simply, not alot of big words. The feel of the book was very down home in the south kind of book. Since it was based in Virginia, they say Ya'll alot. True friendship and childhood love is the main point in thi story. Bascially enjoying life and realizing what deep down popular truly means.
